With Marugeu day two...

I was very tired the next morning because of jet lag, so Marugeu started to hit me with his stick, which hurt a lot, but it did wake me up. I got on some cloth and we headed to the school, when we got to the school all of the little kids were very scared of me, but after a class or two they all warmed up to me with Marugeu's help. before i knew it i was tracking them addition and subtraction. at lunch everyone got one cup of water, and i was very thankful for that cup of water because after the long hot and dry day i was parched. At the end of the day me and Marugeu headed home. on the way back i noticed that he was smiling and was very happy, also i noticed that a lot of the people we were passing were all saying hi to him. We finally arrived at his house and each had a bowl of rice. He took a nap while i cleaned up his hut. after about two hours it was 6' o clock there and he woke up and we each had another bowl of rice and this time we also had two pieces of beef with ours. after the long day I was exhausted so i went to bed, he took a nap so he could stay up longer than me so he prepared his cloth for the next day and he also prepared the cooking supplies we would need in the morning. Then he went to bed too.

Marugeu visit day one...

On my first day with Marugeu I learned a lot from him. he gave me a talk on how important learning is for a person. He inspired me that i should keep learning and try my hardest, he also told me that since I'm in the U.S.A living there, I should take advantage of that and get good grades and a good job and raise a healthy family. During that day alone he has  taught me so much and i am very happy i am able to stay with him for the amount of days that i am.
