Emmanuel's visit day seven last day...

on the last day me and Emmanuel were the first ones up so we got some money and started walking to starbucks. I got a hot chocolate, and he got a coffee. we went home and found my mom there waiting for us thinking  that we could do something really fun on the last day of his visit. so by the end of the morning we decided that we would drive to disneyland. we arrived at disneyland at around noon and then bought our tickets, we went on a couple of rides. by the time of 3:00 we were getting lunch at the princess cove because my sister wanted to go there. we were finished at 4:00 and then had to leave because his flightft at six and going through security would take a very long time . it was a thirty minute drive to the airport. when Emmanuel arrived in the terminal he smiled at us for one last time, we smiled and waved back then they called for him to get on board and he left. That was the last time we've seen him.

Emmanuel's visit day six...

Today we all went downtown shopping, at all different clothing stores, shoe store, skate shops, surf shops and ever watch stores. bye four o clock we bought emmanuel a pair of vans shoes, a button down shirt tie and a pair of cacks, also a pair of volcom shorts and also a volcom shirt. we got into the house at five o'clock and Emmanuel changed into his tie and button down shirt and his cackys we went to the restaraunt Ruths Chris we both got a steak, and my mom and dad both got the steak sand wish on happy hour. when we go home we were so tired and full we fell asleep instantly in our beds.

Emmanuel's fifth day at Santa Barbara...

today after the long day of fishing woke up around noon. we all got dressed and having brunch decided to go on a bike ride all around S.B we started on the north side at East Beach and made our way to santa clause beach and spent the day there boogie boarding and swimming in the ice cold ocean. we dried off then biked back to san roquee to our house. we all changed that went to Chubbies and then we all went to bed.

Emmanuel's Visit Day 3...

On Emmanuels third day in santa barbara we decided to go downtown and see a movie, we looked at all of the movies and decided to see real steel. Wen we went outside, on the car ride back I was listening to Bob Marley, he asked me if he could listen so i let him and he loved it. when we go back i took him to the restaraunt something's fishy we all shared having a combo meal for everyone, he loved the food but was really freaked out and scared when the chef in front of us lit the fire, on the way back we were all very tired from the long day and went to bed.

Emmanuel's second day here...

My family decided to get together and make a great breakfast of eggs, bacon, pancakes, and sausage. Emmanuel woke up to the great aroma of bacon and sausage. he walked into the kitchen where my brothers and I were serving the food, "perfect timing, were serving everyone right now."I handed him a plateful of different varieties of foods he thanked me and then he made his way to the table and started eating. I came to the table a couple mintutes later and started to discuss what we were going to do today, i asked him what he wanted to do. we decided that once we finished getting ready, we would make our way to the beach. when we got to the beach we climbed out of the car and got to a clear spot on the beach. it was a sunny day without a cloud in the sky and the water was very glassy but unusually warmer than it ussually is, still cold though. Emmanuel my brothers and i all decided to jump into the water one last time before we left for the day, Emmanuel put on his waterproof mechanical leg. When we packed up all of our items and started walking towards our car, I asked him if he liked the beach he responded to me, "I  love the beach very much fun,'"he said. The day at the beach was very long but we were all very hungry and decided to go to the habbit burger for dinner we all ordered, and i ordered a double char with everything on it, fries and a drink. we all were shoving our food into our mouths because were were so hungry. when we were eating I would sometimes look at Emmanuel to see if he was enjoying his burger at it was quite obviouse, I think that he did. we went back to the house and all collapsed onto our beds, wondering what to do tomorrow.

Emmanuel's first day in Santa Barbara

As i saw Emmanuel coming down the escalator to the terminal where i was holding his bags in my hands. He saw me instantly and a smile quickly spread across his face. He walked to me as fast as he could and then thanked me for getting his bags from the baggage claim. I'll never forget what he said to me, Oh thank you very very much my bags are very valuable to me i have all my valuables from Rwanda in that bag in your hand, I just couldn't think of what i would do with if it had been stolen." Just then i could tell that me and Emmanuel would be very good friends. my mom was waiting in the parking lot for me and our new guest for the week. As we headed toward my moms car Emmanuel started herding toward the back seat, i asked him "Emmanuel where are you going?" he replied "I'm going to the back seat." I told him to go to the front seat, and he was very thankful. as we headed back to the house two hours away we had a lot of time to talk about what he wanted to do, he said, that all he wanted to do was go to the beach, go to a movie theatre, and also he wanted to go downtown to all the stores and the last thing he wanted to do was try american foods and drinks. As my mom pulled into the driveway Emmanuel was very tired and so we decided to give him some space for him to rest, my mom and me both knew he was very tired from the trip here.

I took Emmanual surfing and it was very fun.there was very good waves and we just swam because was so big.
